People have their own preference when choosing companies. There are advantages of working in a big company and working in a small company. From now on, I will write two advantages about each case.
To begin with, I think one advantage of working for a big company is that you can get a lot of pay. This is a very important reason why many people hope to enter a big company. The salaries given by large companies are basically higher than those given by small and medium-sized companies, but there is especially a lot of money provided as incentives. Some companies offer incentives ranging from 30 percent to 100 percent of their basic salary. It's a lucrative job.
I think the other advantage of working for a big company is that good experience can be gained from the systematic system of big enterprises and large projects. The meaning that the company's system is systematic is that it has long accumulated know-how and experience in all areas such as personnel management, risk management, business management that maximizes profits, and public relations. In fact, large companies are a possible part because they have invested a lot of money knowing that the system is important. If you work for a big company, you can learn how to plan and proceed in a big way when you do one job at the whole company level. Big companies attract and do big scale projects that is difficult for small businesses to proceed. As large companies have relatively large amounts of capital, a lot of manpower, and expertise, it would be a good experience to use expertise with excellent people if given the opportunity.
In addition, I think one advantage of working for a small company is that people can work long-term in an atmosphere of familiarity. Small companies have a small number of people and hire fewer employees in once. Therefore, Small companies are closer to each other and free from the pressure of promotions and competition. Of course, even small companies have a fixed number of promotions, but in the case of large companies, there is a lot of pressure on them to survive because of the much smaller ratio of promotions. Actually, my experience is that I applied for a small company a few days ago and I had an interview with executives there. The executives said that if our company is performing well and earnestly, we have continued to work in the company and have been promoted to the manager over the team leader. Additionally, he said the company's colleagues and seniors are also taking good care of each other. I think the other advantage of working for a small company is that the employees can see how their work contributes to the entire company. For example, in a small company, an employee developed and applied a way to improve his or her work, and the entire company's processes change, and its performance increased. If I can show this mechanism, I feel rewarded and proud in my work. It can give me the energy to keep working. Such cases are in fact more likely to occur in smaller companies than in larger ones. Because it is small in size. Also, one employee has a bigger vacancy in his absence. That gives the person a sense of "I'm a really important person in the company!". In this regard, I think it's a small company where the employees can feel well that they can contribute to the company.
In conclusion, there are different advantages of working in a big company and working in a small company. In a big company, it is cool to get a lot of pay and gain good experience from the systematic system of big enterprises and large projects. By comparison, in a small company, It is nice that people can work long-term in an atmosphere of familiarity and see how their work contributes to the entire company. In this regard, before choosing a job, people should think carefully about where they will fit in.
